Self-Serve Plans
Extended Full-time, Full-time & Part-time Engagements. With our self-serve plans (Rs. 499 & Rs. 999 + 18% GST):
- Your Responsibility You (the employer) are responsible for discussing terms, negotiating salaries, and hiring based on your requirements.
- Platform-Only Role Maidsy provides Aadhaar-verified profiles but is not liable for behaviour, theft, or damages.
- Legal Compliance Ensure police verification after hiring. Treat house help with dignity and pay between the 1st and 5th.
Assisted Services (Stay-in)
Residential Engagement. We provide a 6-month prepaid subscription for the Stay-in (Residential) engagement, for a one-time service fee payment, with an option to subscribe later for replacements and premium customer support. (Renewal is not mandatory)
Service Charge
One-Time Fee: A one-time, non-refundable service charge equal to one month of Staff's monthly salary + 18% GST is payable upfront to MAIDSY.
No Renewal Fee: There is no renewal fee after the six-month contract. The customer can keep the same Staff if they wish without paying MAIDSY.
Employment Terms & Contract
Contract Period
The stay-in (residential) Staff contract period is exactly six (6) months.
Leave Policy
Staff is entitled to two (2) paid leaves per month. Unused leaves can be accumulated. One week advance notice is required.
Replacements
During the six-month contract, Maidsy provides multiple replacements if the staff leaves and up to 3 replacements if the customer requests a change.
Mutual Agreement
Continued employment beyond the contract period requires mutual agreement between the Customer and the Staff.
Customer Terms & Conduct
- Designated Household Staff is assigned exclusively to the designated household. Sharing Staff is prohibited.
- Scope of Work Responsibilities must align with the initially agreed scope (Cooking, Babysitting, etc).
- Staff Treatment Stay-in Staff must be provided a safe environment, 2 hours of day rest, and 8 hours of uninterrupted night sleep.
- Respectful Conduct Ill-treatment, abuse, or harassment of any kind will absolutely not be tolerated.
Confidentiality
- No Advances Do not pay salary advances. MAIDSY is not responsible for any such payments.
- Liability MAIDSY checks Aadhaar/court records but is not liable for future actions. Safeguard your valuables.
- No Direct Contact Refrain from contacting former Staff directly.
Dispute Resolution
Report to MAIDSY: Any issues, misbehaviour, or concerns regarding the Staff/Customer must be reported to MAIDSY for resolution. Direct action or retaliation by either party is prohibited.
All disputes will be resolved under the jurisdiction of the Madras High Court.

- Free Service This job service is free. Maidsy does not charge onboarding fees.
- Professionalism Maintain professionalism and avoid illegal activities. Salary disputes must be addressed with the employer.
- Your Rights For stay-in jobs, you will receive your salary by the 5th. You will be provided basic amenities, 2 paid leaves, and rest periods following labour laws.
